He responded right away to our request for an estimate and his price was very reasonable. He did the work he said he would (removal of old railings and installation of new ones). The railings are beautiful! Although he laid down a drop cloth there was still sawdust on the floor which he left behind. Also, it would have been nice if he had been able to spackle the holes he left behind with the removal of old railings, and if he had been able to fix the carpet around the railings. Both required hiring someone else to fix them. To be fair though, he suggested at the estimate that we may have to have someone fix them as he doesn't do that.

Repair Wood Stairs and Railings in 11704

Had an old set of stairs to the basement in urgent need of repair (replacement was not practical). The did a fine job as promised for the amount promised. I would use them again but I doubt I'll have to, the repair looks to last a long time. I certainly would reccomend them.
