The overall experience was good. He did a very good job on staircases and railings. They look great. I would appreciate it more if some nails didnt stick out from the wall but it's minor.
I'd give him 4 1/2 stars (if there were an option) also because the project did not start on the date promissed, which would still be OK had he at least called and said there's a delay. Besides that, I'd recommend him.

I am an owner-builder and a GC working for myself. I built a single family house from scratch. Beause the trim & finish is so important, I hesitated to hire anybody until the last minute. in the end, I found Mr. Igor and his Home Trimwork carpenters are among the two best contractors worth writing a comment here NOT misleading you.
The quality (whole house trim, stain and painting) is the top line, but the quote was the low-end of my budget. They are skillful, polite, timely and clean. Igor gave very good suggetions in designing also. In one word, if you want a sure smile in the end, meet Igor before you make a final decision.
