We closed on a resale home in late December of 2008. The home was a mess in terms of a terrible looking tile floor (about 1200 square feet). We needed to move into the home by the end of January 2009, but we wanted to replace the tile floor with a hardwood floor before we moved in. I called several wood floor firms, but when I spoke to Jamie Conway at Golden State Floors, Jamie explained, in great detail, how to go about replacing the tile floor and he recommended we go with a traditional hardwood floor as opposed to glue down engineered wood flooring.
