Repair or Partially Replace a Wood Fence in 37923

He was absolutely excellent. A serious drainage problem was discovered once they started digging to replace the fence posts. The holes continued to fill up with water. Since I bought the house a year ago, there had always been a problem in my back yard…it remained soggy in parts even in the middle of the summer. Josh discovered that drainage pipes had been installed incorrectly and, in some places, there were no drainage pipes at all. At any rate, he could have simply repaired the fence and walked away with the money and, until the fence started leaning again, I never would have know there was a problem, and would have been right back where I started, but with my money gone. However, because of his integrity and honesty, Josh wouldn’t do that, and offered to permanently fix the problem for a VERY reasonable amount. They made numerous trips to the supply store, worked many additional hours, and will be returning this week to finish up everything (the concrete hadn’t cured enough by Saturday to replace the support post in one section.) He also hung my flower boxes for me for free!



In this current climate of what appears to be a lack of honesty and integrity in so many people and businesses, Josh Cate and his crew renewed my faith in mankind. He could have taken great advantage of my situation, but did not. I have numerous other projects to get done over the summer, and Josh will be the first and only person I will call. If he’s not available right then, I’ll wait. I’ve also recommended him to my boss and several neighbors. I couldn’t have been happier with Josh and the work he did.
