We finally have met an honest, reliable contractor! In spite of encountering unexpected problems, Mike put in the extra time and effort to resolve them and did not raise his price. He used a floor refinishing system that left almost no dust. (He says that he does even have to wear a mask when sanding.) The floors in our 50 plus year old house came out looking fine and his price was the most reasonable one we found. I would recommend Mike Diorio Flooring to anyone who has a flooring need in northern Massachusetts or New Hampshire.

Mike was clear and businesslike in his communications. He kept in touch by phone during the project which was to restore kitchen and bath floors to their original wide maple.. The work was done as promised and the clean up from floor sanding was great.. When the bathroom floor proved too damaged to restore he installed new subflooring and lino.. cost was over original quote but this was because of unexpected repair work which became evident after removing old lino.
Mike came back at my request to add another coat of polyeutrthane to new thresholds he had insatlled.. Good experience start to finish I would have him again.. .
