I cannot say enough good things about Dave May. He replaced our roof this summer and we are so pleased with the jobe he did. He and his employees were extremely professional, neat and careful. Dave painstakingly paid attention to detail and takes great pride in his work. The job only took a few days, and everything was cleaned up beautifully. In addition, Dave is very approachable and was very accomodating when we had any questions. He is an excellent communicator. On top of all this, we felt that his price was quite reasonable. We are so happy that we hired Dave and would highly reccommend him to others..

Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof in 12771
Mike seamed that he needed the sale. his initial estimate was within my budget for what we discussed and he wanted to secure the sale on the spot. I refused until i got a written estimate. The sticky point was the leaky side of the roof, which I wanted a complete teardown and replacement of the wood and to fix the slope. The other side was to be determined if substructure needed repair at time of job at an extra cost. The contract was worded as replacing damaged wood for the entire roof which i did not catch in time to refuse the job. The work itself looks good, but it is questionable if the roof pitch is adaquite. Mike did apologize.

Repair an Asphalt Shingle Roof in 10530
Dave patched my roof and chimney which were leaking at multiple sites. He also replaced a garage wall which was ruined due to a leaky roof. Not only was his price the lowest, but I feel that he understood the problems better than the other 5 contractors who gave estimates. In the 30 years that I have owned a home, David May is the most professional contractor I have worked with and the only I would give a recommendation for. All the common complaints that we all have about contractors do not apply to him. David cared more about doing the job right and customer satisfaction than anyone else I have dealt with.
