we are in the middle about of the project and i could not be happier with Matthies Landscaping - they are great at communicating!!
8/2/09: our project was finished a little over a week ago and i am absolutely, 100% thrilled with it! Matthies did a great job at returning our back yard to a place that i want to spend time in instead of avoiding even looking at it!
Excellent company to work with, the owner was onsite at the start and completion of the project (which included rebuilding a 3-foot stone wall and resetting stone steps) to ensure our satisfaction.

They were very responsive and proactive in initiating the project, design, walkthrough, etc... They were very open to my ideas, as well as proposing other options that would look better and even save money compared to what I had in mind. We had a tight turnaround date, and they were able to meet that with no problem. One task which was to be completed was forgotten about, but they accepted the error and came out within a day to finish. We are very pleased with the outcome and the landscaping looks great!
