By the time she left our home, I felt that we had a plan that we could work with as well as leads for trustworthy contractors to complete the work. Jan was wonderful. We needed help with paint color selection for my son and daughter-in-law who are first time home buyers. Jan helped to establish Art Deco as their style of choice and then helped the couple choose color selections for each of the rooms as well as placement of the accent walls. So far the results have been stunning! As a bonus, Jan suggested how to use the space to the best advantage with thier furniture placement. They gained them extra living space they wouldn't have had otherwise by not planning redundant dining tables. We hope to have her back for a consult on the window coverings once the walls are all painted.

Jan was responsive, energetic, and thoughtful. She appreciated my personal style and understood the specific needs I asked her to advise me on. She educated me a lot without patronizing me, even after she found out how little I know about standard measurements! She also respected my budget. Her final deliverable -- a floor sketch showing furniture placement, accompanied by paint color samples, rug patterns cut from home product catalogs, and a suggested "non-file cabinet" furniture she thought would address my file storage needs -- is a blueprint that I am now working from.
