No surprises. Alan was on time, his quote and the amount of time estimated were correct, and everything went as expected. Alan didn't hide costs or avoid addressing the issues. His price was not the lowest quote I received, but it was competitive. I'd rather pay 10% to 15% more and know that a job was done right the first time than to have to worry later on. I'm keeping Alan's number for future use.
