He was Timely. He did communicate on the problems he found, but although I was present at the time of the inspection did not point them out, except for on his computer. He was courteous and as far as budget he was in the same cost frame as others doing the same job. I did expect a more through job for the price. The biggest thing is he missed quite a few problems. All of which would have been caught with a more through inspection. Things leading to us having to spend money. Three window springs are broken, all one had to do is open and close windows to find this. Cracked floor tiles, just look down. Cracked shower tiles and missing grout. Sinks that don't drain. Tub did not drain. Bathroom cabinet hinges broken.
Kitchen drawers that don't roll, rollers broken. Sprinkler heads that don't pop up. I would suggest going room to room on an inspection and conducting the inspection with the inspector and asking questions.

This home inspection was with out a doubt the most professional and in depth home inspection I could have asked for. Purchasing a first home is accompanied by anxiety, apprehension, and excitement all at the same time. Matt took his time in going over all his findings with me.
