The work was performed promptly and expertly. I was charged $95 for a 15 minute visit and a replacement part (end capacitor). I was given a "deal" whereby I was "only" charged $57.50 instead of the "usual" $125 for a capacitor that cost $2.40. I only found this out when I requested a quote from a competitor who contacted me when the job was finished. I verified the price of the part with the distributor. I was given a $30 refund when I requested an explanation from the contractor. After a 24 hour delay for "investigation," the contractor apologized and I was told that this was a misunderstanding.

Out of the three contractors referred by Service Magic, only DC Moore was able to answer all my HVAC questions satisfactorily and had all his technicians NATE certified. I got a better furnace at a better price than all his competitors, and had A/C servicing and air balancing work completed that had not been done before on our 20 year old house. We now have better performance than expected or experienced before and are completely satisfied with DC Moore's service. We will continue to patronize DC Moore.
