Saturday after Thanksgiving we woke up to the automatic garage door opener closing and opening the garage door on its own. The unit was a 13 year old Genie Blue Max that had been acting mysteriously off and on for about 2 years.
Had to unplug the garage door opener to get it to stop. Motor was very hot.
William Thornton called immediately after we placed a service magic request in.
He arrived within an hour, diagnosed a simple wiring problem and commenced to fixing the initial problem. He never tried to sell us anything and was exremely polite and professional.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Thornton Home Improvement. I needed my garage door fixed. They scheduled an appt quickly and fixed it on site that day. The cost of the project was within what they estimated. Not only did they fix the initial problem but they took the time to tell me about another problem that was bending my garage door and fixed it. They were slightly late for the appt but they called me beforehand to let me know. That's refreshing since most contractors I've delt with are late and never call...leaving me to sit around wondering if they are going to show up or not. I would use this company again!
