The tech underestimated my problem even though I clearly told him I believed I needed the entire flang replaced and since it was being replaced I wanted stainless steel. I quess I surprised him becuase I was asking for a job to be done when I had the money instead of when it became an emergency. I first tried to save me money by trying to put on a repair flang, but then he discovered I had a crack in the pipe from the original ill fitting flang. Then it took him alot longer to install the stainless steel flang I insisted on then he had expected. Hopefully he'll be better prepared the next time he has to work on a house in our neighborhood
