JJ's Painting did a good job on painting. However the prep was almost none.
I was very disapointed in the work prior to paint being applied. We discussed the prep prior to the job starting. His workers only knocked off the loose pieces of paint and scraped. No sanding or feathering of areas was done. Paint was applied directly to scraped areas that went several layers to the wood. This is very visible. Other areas needed sanding that was not done.
Very nice people to work with. No problems at all there.
I would only suggest that when talking about 'prep', ask questions and make your expectations very clear.

I have cedar shingles on my house and some of them were in really bad shape. Before Steve even saw my house he called his paint rep to check on a recommendation for treating the type of shingles I have on my house. They were quick, tidy and also helpful with ideas on what to fix on my house prior to the painting.
