I'm glad he was able to come in short notice. He was even willing to work later in the evening (but I rearranged my own schedule). The labor rate was fairly reasonable for an electrician. There was some misunderstanding prior to starting the project, regarding what kind of dryer wiring the house had; he ran to Lowe's and added the extra material cost to the original quote. He was almost going to cut the wrong wire in the basement except I was there to point out the correct one. He almost left without putting in the second screw to the wall plate. Those things aside, he was a good guy, and I would ask him back for other work.
