My toilet was plugged and the plumber told me he would first try to hand auger iit and if that didn't work that he would have to take the toilet off and machine auger it. He gave me quotes prior to doing the work so I could make a decision of what I wanted to do. He first tried the hand ouger and that diidn't work, then he removed the toilet to machine auger the drain. He found what was blocking the toilet - a dead squirrel. He removed and disposed of it and refitr my toilet. Everything works fine now.
