The same evening that I resubmitted the request for another craftsman, I hardly clicked the send button before my phone was ringing. One the other end was an enthusiastic Michael Byers. We agreed that a survey would be taken, and an estimate given. When that was accomplished, a date of 5/26/09 was set for the repair. However, in the afternoon of 5/21/09, Mr. Byers called stating that he had some open time and further inquired if I would be available for the repair to be completed that same evening. I responded in the affirmative, and in less than one hour, two work vans arrived. Mr. Byers and his crew set about the task and the repair was completed in less than three hours.
I would like to commend Mr. Byers for doing a first-rate, job. Watching Michael and his pros operate was like watching a well-oiled, fine-tuned machine in progress. The men worked together in harmony displaying nothing but professionalism all the way. So impressed was I with their worked that I plan on using Byers Security in the future for other jobs and am sorry I had not found him sooner.

Michael Byers and his carpenter partner (Paul?) were professional and knowledgeable. They were careful with my property. The problem with my aging sliding glass door (noisy and difficult to slide) was resolved quickly with an adjustment and lubrication. Although other contractors might have been tempted to suggest replacing parts that were not worn, Byers Security was straightforward in advising me to keep the parts (i.e., they were honest). They advised me how best to keep the door lubricated. They were accommodating in scheduling the service call. Their fee seemed reasonable. I'd call them aga. I recommend them without reservation.
