Install or Replace a Shower in 06002

Both John and his assistant, Danny, were very professional and knowledgeable. The actual work they did was excellent workmanship. Very neatly done. They cleaned up and hauled away everything. They were also on time everyday and worked all day.

However I would have liked to have seen actual samples/photos of the toilet, and vanity chosen by the contractor before the work begun. I was sent to the showroom to choose the vanity at my request the day after the job started. The one I chose would not be delivered for 3 weeks, so I went to Home Depot to purchase one. I did choose the vanity using the width-size I was told by the contractor. Height was not considered or mentioned (I guess I should have asked). The very small bathroom (30" x 30") became even smaller and is now dominated by what looks like a gigantic vanity. Plus, I am not able to put back the over-the-toilet storage rack because it no longer fits. It really is a tight squeeze getting in and out of the shower and using the toilet because of the giant vanity between them. I guess I will just have to get used to it.

I also expected the frame around the door and the radiator-ends to be painted to match the fresh paint everywhere else, when they were put back at the end of the job, but they were not. I will have to do that myself.

I also assumed that the removal of the peeling wallpaper and painting of the bathroom was included in the original quote, but it was not. My fault, I should have asked. I had to get someone else to do that in a hurry because I wanted everything to look fresh and newwhen the bathroon is completed. They would have done it, but for more than I wanted to spend.

The bottom line of my experience is that I would have

We used J&D Home Improvement to install a chair rail in our dining room. It wasn't a big project, but Pat was there to answer any questions we had. He was very professional and you could tell he took pride in his work. I would recommend these guys for any type of home improvement project, big or small.

Repair Interior or Exterior Doors in 06238

My home was broken into and an exterior door had its window shattered. I wasn't feeling safe as long as the door window was damaged, and was reluctant to leave my house with easy access to the same individuals who previously broke into my house. After explaining my situation, Richard's Home Care responded with sympathy and professionalism. The next day my door was fixed to the extent of not allowing easy access. And even though this was an emergency situation, the cost was as if I had arranged for the work several days beforehand.
