The service technician called before arriving to let me know that he would be on time or a little early to service my chimney. On arrival the technician put down a large blanked in front of my fireplace to catch any dirt or ash that might come from the stove before starting the cleaning of the chimney. As part of the chimney cleaning I was given a description of the condition of my chimney and any corrective action that may be required to make repairs, none were required. The firebox and the smoke chamber were cleaned and inspected; the technician indicated that my smoke chamber was at a creosote level 1 and what action was needed to remedy the condition. Because the access to the smoke chamber was limited by the design of my stoves installation he recommended using a creosote reducing powder that you add to your fires. I was very satisfied with the information I received from the service technician and would hire them again to do my chimney cleaning.
