Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System in 33444

I called Max Air because my A/C system had shut down completely. He looked at the compressor outside and found a part that had shorted out. I thought that was the solution. We then went into the garage to look at the air handler. He cut open the panel and said that the coils needed to be cleaned. I went to look at them myself, and David told me I wouldn't be able to see them. He then quoted me a price of $400 and agreed to lower it to $350. I thought that the replacing the part to the compressor would have started the system back up and solved the problem. However the weather had been unseasonally hot, and I had to trust him on the coils.
