Kyle was friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. The problem was identified, explained, and fixed perfectly. I do not recommend many companies/people but definitely recommend Kyle and 24 Hour.

Repair or Service a Central Air Conditioning System in 06810
Had them come charge my ductless mini-split unit which uses r-410a refrigerator. Tech which came was Carlos, and he was knowledgeable, professional, and a nice guy who definitely knew what he was doing. Unit needed a charge of 1lb of refrigeration. Working much better (but not 100%, maybe 85%) afterwards.
When I called to schedule my appointment, they were able to service me same day which was nice considering the heat! Costs were told to me up front when I called - 225$ for visit, and 60$ per pound of r410a if charge was needed. For some reason I was billed 65$ for the pound they put in, but I didn't feel like bringing anything up regarding it. Thought the initial service visit was a bit on the steep side, but I guess they can justify charging that amount with demand on their technicians given the heat wave! Also, I thought the 60/65$ per lb of refrigerator was a bit high given that it costs them probably 220$ (or less) for a 25lb bottle which is around 10$/lb.... Nice 500+% markup! Anyways, since I was told the deal up front, I guess I cannot complain too much. I'm glad at least that they were transparent regarding their pricing by telling me up front. Also, they accept visa/MC only -- no amex...
