A One Electric Service, LLC

Repair a Ceiling Fan in 22204

Mr. Singh showed up on time and did a fair analysis of my problem. I sent him a follow up email asking for further assistance but he did not respond.

He also was to email me an invoice for the service provided. He has not done so.

Electric Technologies, Inc.

Repair a Ceiling Fan in 22205

The technician came out promptly and told us immediately that we would be better off getting a new fan rather than trying to fix the old one. We appreciated being told that immediately rather than have him spend two hours trying unsuccessfully to fix it. We were given an hourly rate over the phone, but we were not told that there was a minimum charge of two hours--and the guy was only at our house for 30 minutes.

Repair a Ceiling Fan in 22206

I forgot to ask for an estimate before making an appointment for the service, and the person I spoke to on the phone failed to mention how much the installation of a ceiling fan usually costs. When the electrician showed up, I had no idea how much I was going to be paying. Also, my old fan was hooked up to a wall switch, and the electrician failed to tell me that the new fan would not be connected to the wall switch. After he left I thought my new fan would work via wall switch but it didn't. It's ok, but I wish he would have told me. Also, the electrician was quite early - about 2 hours (without calling first). But better early than late...I guess...Otherwise, the experience was good.
