The workers showed up when they said they would and worked hard on the mess that was my fireplace and chimney. Much of the framing around the fireplace was rotten, which was not part of the contract, so I had to work around the J.H.Kinard workers to repair it. We were able to work around each other to get the job done on time. There was one point of confusion regarding the fireplace glass doors, but this was resolved quickly. The hardware was in stock but the workers had to drive between locations to retrieve everything. This delayed the process.
The amount charged was the amount agreed upon. They left the work area broom clean.

They called to let me know they could come 30 minutes early if it did not inconvenience me. I told them it was fine. They inspected my chimney and indicated to me it was very clean and really did not require cleaning. This was very honest. I ask them if they had any backwall stone on the truck and they indicated they did. I asked if they could give me an estimate to replace mine since they were here and they did. They cut a new backwall stone to fit my fireplace and replaced it in a short time to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with their timeliness, efficiency, honesty and they were also friendly guys. I would recommend to others.
