Install a Brick, Stone or Block Wall in 80439
I hired autumn leaf for a boulder retaining wall. The wall didn't turn out to be what we originally discussed, but it turned out nice. It seems like autumn leaf does a very good job at building boulder retaining walls. Several things went wrong during the process, but Kevin was excellent at trying to resolve the issues (even after getting paid):
* Before we started we discussed where the heavy equipment would be brought in and where the wall would start. Instead of bringing the equipment in from the rear of the house, they brought it in from the front and basically made a new driveway right in front of the house with some sections over 2 ft. of dirt wall. Kevin has agreed to come back and make it look nicer.
*To get the equipment in, they needed to take down a few sections of the fence. More sections of the fence were destroyed by falling rocks when they were building the fence. The way they put the fence back together would almost be comical if it wasn't for my dogs always escaping. I ended up fixing some sections myself and Kevin agreed to pay for the materials. He came back and fixed up the rest.
* When they cut out the dirt for the retaining wall they didn't support the cement pillars holding the deck and they heaved a about 1/4 of an inch.
I think Kevin really wants to do a good job and seems willing to make things right. I wish it could be right the first time, but like I said Kevin is good about coming back to make it right. I found the boulder retaining wall to be fairly pricey per square foot, but I will most likely have him do another one for me because of the quality of the wall.

Jason provided a prompt and competitive estimate upon seeing the work that we needed. He also proivded many photos of previous, similar work he had done to give us a good idea of the quality of his work. His team did a quality job and remained diligent to getting the job done right, despite problems caused by the wet weather. The job ended up taking longer because of the weather, but they built a beautiful brick wall, with a nice set of entry steps, surrounding my garden area. I would definitely recommend Creative Masonry to anyone I know with similar needs and would use them again myself if we have other masonry-related jobs.
