Jim offered competitive pricing and worked quickly to get the job done without cutting corners. He was courteous, personable, and was friendly around children (I never heard him use foul language). He also offered design ideas to make the space more usable and was very patient in answering all of my questions (I tend to ask a lot of detailed questions!) The only complaint I have is that the drywall sub contractor he ended up using (Reliable Texture & Drywall) did a horrible job - examples include corners being off by more than 2 degrees over a 12" span, mud at butt joints thicker by 1/4"+ and not feathered into the wall, pitting in the mud that went the entire height of the wall, etc. I'm surprised that they can stay in business with their lack of quality and attention to detail. The drywall and texture quality was not a reflection of the quality of work that Jim performed himself. If I were to do it over again, I would have Jim do it, but have him hire a better drywall sub.
