Stairway to Haven
This is the tallest and longest set of continuous wood stairs in the state. They hug a rock cliff that is eleven stories high from the cabin to the shores of Lake Chelan. They are more than 300 feet long from top to bottom. This little project took one of our crews an entire summer to build. We had to haul the concrete up the face in buckets by hand. A Cashmere Highschool boy was our helper on this site and he got in such good shape over the summer that he went to State in Wrestling!

Bathroom tile job
Customer designed this "artistic" approach and use of their collection of scrounged tile from many decades. The tub and sinks were 1959 American Standard units in "Green Sherbert" which the customer bought new. Because the sinks were older and shallower, the counter was raised 3" for easy cleaning and splash/spill minimization, which was achieved by building-up layers of 1 1/8" plywood over two solid oak vanities.
